So this is my first blog. Well, on Yuku anyways. So...Let's talk about my upcoming Disney trip!
We are going for my 21st birthday May 4th - 7th. (FYI, birthday is on the 7th) "We" is my husband (Dave) and myself (Amanda), and well as my Mom and Dad. Mom is just as Disney crazy as I am, Dave/Dad, not so much. But they can deal. Anyways, we are passholders and go frequently, but with Presidents week and Easter being so close this year, the last time I went was in January for a girls weekend with Mom to go to the Pirate and Princess Party. Yes, it's been THAT long! (We went around Easter for the day last year, and swore we'd never do it again. If you have personal space issues, do NOT go at this time!)
So I am super excited. And it's my 21st birthday! We're doing Tshirts and everything. Also, I am in the middle of planning window decorations for two rooms. We are having my birthday dinner at 1900 Park Fare for Cinderella's Gala Feast.
Amanda Fact: I LOVE characters...despite the fact I am old enough to play one... Dream Job: Ariel.
We are also staying at my favorite resort, Port Orleans French Quarter. I love everything about this place, food court, pool, the river boat to DTD, the theme...everything!
Amanda Fact: I am CRAZY about Mardi Gras. The colors, the music, the history, the beads...our guestroom even has a Mardi Gras theme. Last year, my little sister-in-law came to visit us from MI, and we stayed at French Quarter. From her bedroom here to the hotel room there, she could not escape Mardi Gras. Luckily she likes it too ^.~
Next big decision: I am also trying to decide if I want to do a tour this year. I need to decide soon so I can make ressies. We're thinking maybe Keys to the Kingdom, although the backstage safari looks kind of cool. But since I am not a big Animal Kingdom fan to begin with, I am afraid I won't really love it. If we don't do one this trip, we may do it for our anniversary trip in June.
Amanda Fact: I love magic kingdom. I would live there if I could. (I can sleep at the Treehouse, get a morning shower on Splash Mountain. Come on, it could work!)
Alright well I need to go try and get a tan in my backyard. More later!
